Well, let me say it outright, it’s not about us so much as it is about Jesus and His continued impact in our lives. We reflect on what He has done for us and respond by living as People Enriched At Christ’s Expense. This describes those of us who are a part of the fellowship at Peace.

We remind ourselves that we are all on a journey of faith with Christ. We are not alone. This journey has mountains to climb, rivers to forge, a valley to cross and accomplishments to celebrate. Our Philosophy of Ministry

Each of us are at different stages in developing a discipleship lifestyle as we go about being intentional with our prayer time, worship, reading the Bible, service, spiritual friendships and giving. We believe all are essential in our growth as Disciples of Christ. This gives you a good handle on who we are and yet, if you want to peal back another layer you will find our Philosophy of Ministry.

Our Vision

We see a group of people being actively impacted by Jesus Christ, resulting in their lives being changed and transformed. We see people falling in love with Jesus their Savior, who are purposefully sharing their faith, hope, and love with others. We see God bringing dynamic change to this generation and the next for His glory.

Our Mission

Our mission is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ, and by becoming a loving, serving, and maturing body of believers who seek to be honest about our sin and realize our dependency on God’s grace.

Our Motto

We live as People Enriched At Christ’s Expense. At first glance you might be saying “What?!” Yeah, I know, it takes some thought to unpack this, but once you do, it is really cool. Our purpose is to live in response to what Jesus has done for us through His life, death and resurrection. All of our lives are a response to something and we choose to respond to God’s great love for us.

The name of our church is Peace:

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (John 14:27).

God’s gift of peace is unlike the world’s idea of peace in that it brings the ultimate sense of security deep within us even when pressed by troubles. The key to our peace is faith in Jesus Christ.
